The Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation (CRES) has declared the Phetchaburi Expressway intersection on Phetchaburi Road and from the Ratchathewi intersection to Sam Yan intersection on Phaya Thai Road no entry zones, reports said.
The declaration of the no entry zones was to allow troops to take full control of the two roads near the Ratchaprasong intersection red shirt rally site. It was a measure declared as part of the plan to limit the rally area of the red-shirted supporters of the United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD).
